V-Suites Provides A Home Away From Home for Extended Stay Guests

By Pamela Sosnowski

For the traveler that requires a long-term stay, even the best five-star hotels usually cannot offer much beyond a clean room and basic amenities, and most apartments are out of the question if the required signed lease must be for a minimum of a year.

This is where V-Suites, which provides corporate housing and furnished apartments, is filling a hospitality void for the out of town visitor that wants to feel at home during an extended stay but without the commitment of a long-term lease.

"For 15 years, V-Suites has been a key provider of both short-term and long-term serviced apartments and is quite simply, the next generation of corporate housing," says Minna Sharrak, Senior Director of Sales & Marketing. "Our boutique luxury brand is redefining what corporate housing can look like."

A V-Suite apartment is quite literally a home away from home, providing a fully furnished and functioning unit right down to the kitchen utensils and pre-stocked utility closet. Every resident has the opportunity to customize their living space with furniture and accessories of their choosing. In addition, the short term furnished apartments "allow our guests to be surrounded by resort-style amenities and custom home finishes in the most desirable neighborhoods," according to Sharrak.

"V-Suites offers an array of services from around-the-clock concierge, weekly maid service, grocery delivery, a fully-equipped gym, pet friendly rentals, fine linens, in-unit washer and dryer, fitness facilities and so much more."

V-Suites operates two properties in Ann Arbor: Ann Arbor City Apartments, which is in the busy downtown area and Village Green of Ann Arbor, located on the quieter northeast side of the city and within close proximity to several businesses, shopping areas, and parks. Some of the types of guests that have stayed at V-Suites include job hunters relocating to a new area, actors on tour with a theater company, and family members whose loved ones received long-term hospital care.

The reservation process is simple: guests can browse the company's website or call the office to speak to an experienced sales representative. The sales team searches the inventory for an apartment that fits the guest's needs, and when they are ready to reserve it, the apartment is placed on hold until the lease contract is signed.

This hands-on customer service from the reservation process to move-out day has left V-Suites with hundreds of satisfied guests since 2001. "We offer white glove treatment with genuine customer service executing every reservation with urgency, precision, and care," says Sharrak. "So whichever location you choose, we will find ways to make your stay extraordinary.
