Please describe a little bit about your company and the services you offer.

We are a full service Insurance Restoration & Home Improvement company celebrating our 20th year in business this month. Besides winning various remodeling awards over the years we are also a top 100 Roofing Contractor in the USA as selected by Roofing Contractor Magazine. This year we were selected in the Top 50 Insurance Restoration Companies in America by Remodeling Magazine.

What are some visual signs that it is time to remove your tree before it falls and causes extensive damage?

Any signs of rotting, or if a tree is leaning over your residence you should consider having a tree professional do an onsite inspection.

What are some ways to prevent frozen pipes in the winter?

The best way is to shut off the water supply line when you leave for a vacation. In winter months you should make sure the heat stays up around 65 when you are not in the home again?.r if you leave for a vacation. So many people turn the heat down thinking they are saving energy, only to come home to a mess frozen pipe that is on an outside wall or in a crawl space.

What are the dangers of leaving exposed mold in your home?

Really too many to write about! Allergies, Asthma, watery eyes, coughing are just a few of the health risks associated with mold exposure. If anyone has mold in their home (walls or attic) they should call a professional restoration contractor to do an evaluation and have the mold checked by an independent laboratory. Once the type of mold is professionally determined, the proper protocol can be written. After the protocol is written only then can a quote for the remediation by provided by a mold remediation company.

What are some things you do differently compared to similar companies in your area?

We have always used the latest technology available to us. We believe in continuing education and we are always up to date on the latest products and advances in our industry. All of our job tracking and employee tracking systems are web based. Everyone in the field including our job technicians have iphones for job costing and tracking hours. Any employee at anytime can get to any job file by using their iphone or ipad. We feel this gives us an advantage in job scheduling and helps us complete projects quicker and on budget.

How are you able to help your customers through the insurance claim process?

Initially we educate them on what to expect. We fill out the mortgage paperwork that is necessary to pay out the claim. We scope and write a detailed estimate that is giving to the adjuster when we meet them at the loss. Most people have not had to deal with an insurance claim on their home and the ones that have already know how difficult it can be. By knowing the entire process inside and out we are able to streamline and expedite the claim from the estimate to the start of the job and right through to the final check getting processed. Without this knowledge the process can drag on for months & months.
