For Your Company's Space Needs, Look to Liberty Center

By Marina Jokic

Thomas Duke Company has owned and operated the Liberty Center in Troy, Michigan, for 10 years with the ability to provide class A office space and retain tenants by the impeccable service provided and flawless condition of the buildings. Built with exceptional materials, the buildings feature some of the latest technologies like web-based maintenance and fiber-optic internet speeds of up to 10 GB per second upload and download speeds. Liberty Center is designed to meet a company's complex space and technology needs.

Designed with an eye to modern architecture, Liberty Center's exterior is sleek and attractive. Its interior is elegant yet functionally pragmatic, with amenities ranging from secure covered parking to an on-site cafeteria and 24-hour tenant access.

Tenants enjoy the many features of the buildings that were included to make day-to-day work life productive and efficient such as spacious and bright conference rooms, immediate proximity to the Marriott's Troy Bistro 200 restaurant, and a very recent common area and restroom renovation. Once a company leases a space within the office complex, they are assisted with planning and design in order to acquire the best suited space for their employees. Rates are competitive while the leasing process is made efficient and painless.

"Our property management team is reachable along with being quick and attentive, and our on-site building engineer is available each day for tenant requests and maintenance," Rachel Pharis, a member of the property management team, said. "The Thomas Duke Company property management team is currently working on Energy Star Certification and LEED Certification to make Liberty Center even more energy efficient providing elevated cost savings as well as a healthy and enjoyable environment for tenants."

The center is located in the heart of Troy on Michigan's premier office corridor and is surrounded by multiple shops and restaurants. The nearby Troy Community Center offers a fitness center, aquatics area, and childcare while the Troy public library is just northwest of the office property. For those interested in a bit of shopping after work, the Somerset Collection Mall is just two miles west and is home to 180 stores and restaurants.

A smooth glass façade contrasts with the curvy, undulating flank of the building. Reminiscent of office structures found in most major U.S. cities, Liberty Center also possesses its own unique architectural style. Consisting of two carbon copy, adjacent buildings, the complex's appeal is enhanced by lush trees, shrubs, and grassy areas. The interior has been updated regularly over the years to keep up with the rapidly changing interior designs and rising levels of comfort. In addition, LED lighting has been added throughout the buildings to mimic the positive effect of natural light.

The first floor of the 100 Building is home to the Liberty Café, which serves breakfast and lunch set in a comfortable lounge with high speed internet. If you have to fuel before an early meeting, the café prepares delicious egg dishes and sandwiches. For lunch, you will find classics such as BLT, tuna salad, corned beef or turkey Reuben, and steak fajita wrap. Pair those sandwiches with one of the café's freshly cut salads such as their Cobb, garden, or Greek.

"The abundance of glass allows natural light into all suites as well as the unique curved glass block wall, which provides additional natural light and a unique look to tenants situated along this side of the building," Pharis said. "We offer class A finishes and turnkey buildouts, allowing tenants to choose high class [materials] that promote their brand."
