D&D Executive Transportation Gets You There In Style

By Michael Abelson

Located in Garden City, D&D Executive Transportation provides top-quality chauffeur service for any and all occasions. Originally founded in 2008 with a single sedan, D&D has grown by leaps and bounds in the decade since. Today, the company offers a fleet of cars including multiple limos and a party bus. Vice president Scott Archer answered some questions about the company's growth and success.

Why should potential clients take advantage of your services?

Clients have many different benefits when they book their transportation with us, including safety and convenience. All of our chauffeurs have a chauffeur license or higher, and before we even consider them they must be approved by the insurance company. Each of them also has a background check done prior to starting with us. Our vehicles are each insured with a minimum of $1 million commercial coverage. That is important because if a vehicle is being operated for business purposes with normal insurance, you might not be covered.

Convenience wise, it is simple, we offer limousine, party bus, shuttle and airport service all under one roof. That means that you only have to call one company to set up your transportation. Our wide range of national affiliates also allows us to handle any transportation that you might need around the country, and many places around the world. Customers also can make reservations over the phone, on our website, or even over email if they have already used us.

What separates your business from competitors?

Our customer service. I have worked in this industry for long enough to realize that not every company really cares what their customer needs, they just book trips exactly as the customer said, or exactly as they did for the person before. I believe that each trip, especially for the limousines and shuttles is a little different. I have worked with my staff to teach them the best ways to listen to what the customer says, and help to guide them to what is best for them and their individual needs.

What else would you like to convey to the public about your business? What do you enjoy about your job?

The limousine and black car industry does not have the best reputation, and because of that people have been willing to lower expectations, and in turn been happy to pay less for low quality. I see it at bridal shows all the time, the public tries to avoid making eye contact with limo companies because of a horror story that someone else had with a different company. That is not okay. Many companies in our industry are not scam artists, we are not all equal. Many of us are looking to change that perception, and to make your experience as good as possible so that you don't have that horror story. My favorite part of the job is hearing from a bride or a mother about how helpful we were, and how great it was to have a vendor that didn't pressure them about every step along the way.
